Privacy Policy

This policy explains what HiredQuick collects, why, and what you can do about it. If anything here is unclear, contact us at tylertravisrhs@gmail.com.

What we collect

• Account information: your name and email address when you sign up, and whatever you add to your profile (skills, work experience, project history, links).
• Resume content: if you upload a resume, we extract text from the file to pre-fill your profile. The file itself is processed transiently and not stored after extraction; the structured fields it produces are saved to your profile.
• Pipeline and activity data: the companies you target, the stage each one is in, notes, generated pitches, and build progress you track in the app.
• Billing information: if you subscribe to Premium, payment is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details — Stripe gives us a customer and subscription ID only.
• Usage and log data: basic technical logs (timestamps, request paths, error details) used to operate and debug the service.

Third-party contact data

HiredQuick surfaces publicly available company information (job postings, engineering blogs, public GitHub activity, and similar public sources) to help you research companies and identify a specific problem worth solving. Any company contact details shown come from these public sources. HiredQuick does not send emails on your behalf — outreach drafts open in your own email client for you to review and send yourself.

How we use what we collect

• To operate your account, pipeline, and billing.
• To generate research, project ideas, pitch copy, and role recommendations personalized to your profile. This involves sending relevant profile fields, resume text, and research context to OpenAI's API to generate that content. OpenAI processes this data to return a response; see OpenAI's API data usage policy for how they handle it (as of this writing, API inputs are not used to train their models by default).
• To detect abuse and enforce rate limits, using your account and IP address.
• To send account-related emails (e.g. email confirmation, password reset) via Supabase.

Who we share data with

We rely on a small number of service providers to run HiredQuick, each acting as a data processor:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
• OpenAI — resume parsing, research, and content generation, as described above.
• Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and its associated data at any time from Settings, or by emailing tylertravisrhs@gmail.com. Deleting your account removes your profile, pipeline, and history; it does not retroactively delete emails you've already sent to third parties using content generated by the app.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing (for example, under GDPR if you're in the EU/UK, or CCPA/CPRA if you're a California resident). To exercise any of these rights, email tylertravisrhs@gmail.com.

Cookies

We use a single essential cookie set by our authentication provider (Supabase) to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Children's privacy

HiredQuick is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you directly.
